It was a Google search on that fateful phrase that first led me to my present career in phone sex.

Melodrama aside, here are some of my favorite links with advice on how to talk dirty to your boyfriend, girlfriend, wife, husband, illicit sex plaything, or next obscene phone call victim. The Art of Dirty Talk
Quiet, focused sex can be intense and climactic -- but sex where one of you makes noise, opens your mouth and says things to crank up the heat can be some of the most concentrated and profound sex imaginable.

Violet's how-to article is short and sweet. It covers the basics in a very friendly way without getting too relationshippy, making this the perfect one to start with.

Dirty Talk 101
Have you wanted to unleash that wild side of yours through dirty talking, but haven’t found the courage, or don’t even know where to start? These are some basics guidelines to keep in mind. Like deep breaths and sounds, your words should also be in sync with the rhythm you have just created. The inhale breath should almost always be heard by your partner and you should speak in the “sexy voice” on the exhale breath. Enunciate all your words to your best degree.

Another quickie, relationship oriented. By now a lot of these are starting to sound repetitive as far as general tips, so look at the details- what they suggest doing, the fantasies and phrases they mention. The great thing about talking dirty is that everyone has their own style, and sampling from different sources helps you build yours.

This article is long as hell. It's actually from a 1999 sexuality.org workshop handout- and it's excellent, with reviews of books dealing with erotic talk, and various comments about the phone sex industry. This article is especially good for sex workers. It's not so much specifically about technique, but it covers a lot.

Not the greatest article on the topic, and not geared toward pro phonesex, just amateur phone play, but it's worth reading. I've seen it somewhere else before though, and I'm not entirely sure which place had it first...
